On the 28th of February, the 1st and 2nd of March SKYBERRIES 2018 took place in Vienna. We want to thank all who participated and all who helped us organising this very first conference on vertical farming in the German speaking region. On behalf of the vertical farm institute we can state that the conference was a big success. We received much positive feedback and feel inspired to continue working on a collective future for vertical farming. The input we gathered during these inspiring three days will be used in order to take future steps to further develop our research, and it will also serve as the building blocks for our new conference.
